Sound and Image

The following links demonstrate my current approach to mixing and matching a range of organised sound and what I would call, ‘image-processes’, using Max and Jitter patches. Here, it would seem I have juxtaposed an improvised soundscape against the more stable form which the processed images afford the viewer. It should be noted, overall, material(sound and image) used to produce these short works were intended to complement one another. However, regarding the results, it may not always be clear which element is taking the lead formally.

It is also important to mention, in these videos I have used Jitter patches based on  designs by other artists such as Rajan Caveri, Sabina Covarrubias, and 42Percent Noir.

Also, Newer Repetitions (2019)  is another set of works similar (to the above).
